In this very important book by Mr. Furst, mentioned above, I was overwhelmed with the information that he had gleaned and catalogued from nearly 15,000 readings of Edgar Cayce on the personality of Jesus the Christ, as recorded in and attested to by Mr. Cayce from the AKASHIC RECORDS (THE RECORDS OF UNIVERSAL MIND CONCERNING UNIVERSAL HISTORY.)
In one very revealing QUESTION/ANSWER DIALOGUE, (which only transpired after Mr. Cayce had already given 20 years of information about how to heal people who were extremely sick ~ and given up by conventional medicine in the first 20 years of the 20th century, since Edgar had been so successful in healing people [[VIA THE INFORMATION OF THE 'AKASHIC RECORDS']] other questions on church history & philosophy were put to him>circa, 1923-to the 1940's.)
Regarding THE RELEVANCY OF GNOSTICISM (considered heretical by the conventional church)~ there is a telling QUESTION/ANSWER DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE INQUIRING MINDS TO 'THE AKASHIC RECORDS' PERSONALITY SPEAKING FOR SAME....THROUGH THE "VEHICLE" OF EDGAR CAYCE (THE SLEEPING PROPHET!)

A.21: This is a parallel and was the commonly accepted one until there began to be set rules in which there were attempts to take SHORT CUTS ["MY EMPHASIS"] And there are none in Christianity.
